Housing with a future

We need more homes. But we also need the right homes, for the right people, in the right places, supported by the right infrastructure.

If there were an easy fix to housing, it would have been done by now. But there is a lot of good work already happening — and I want to help push it forward.

That means mixed-tenure developments that include ownership, rental and social housing. It means building around schools, transport, not just squeezing in houses wherever we can.

Most of the easy sites are gone. What’s left takes more planning, more funding and more imagination. But we can do it, especially if government and private developers work together with a shared goal: homes people can actually afford to live in.
