What I Stand for

I believe in fairness, honesty, and doing the groundwork.

I won’t pretend to have all the answers. But I’ll always show up, speak plainly, and push for a system that works for more of us, not just the few.

Here’s where I stand on the issues that matter most to me, and I think, to many of you too.

Healthcare should be affordable, fair and future-proof.

That means making GP access affordable, embracing new technologies, and being honest about how we fund long-term care.

A stronger charity
sector

Charities deliver essential services — often more effectively than government. Let’s fund them properly, work with them respectfully, and stop making them fight for survival.

Education for real life

Education should prepare young people for real life, not just exams. I didn’t support every decision made, but I’m focused on moving forward: updating our curriculum, and making space for all kinds of learners.

Protecting our environment

I care deeply about Guernsey’s environment, it’s where I run, swim and recharge. So, I’ll fight to protect our green spaces, support nature recovery, and champion smart, sustainable development.

Fairer tax

We need a fairer tax system that funds essential services without placing the biggest burden on those with the least. I’m open to all options — including GST — but only after we've closed loopholes, reformed corporate tax, and used our reserves wisely.

Housing with a future

There’s no quick fix to the housing crisis — but progress is happening. With smarter planning, stronger partnerships, and a focus on what people actually need, we can keep moving in the right direction.
